Chef Steph is here! How you doing Chef Steph? We’ve got a question! This
comes from Paige and she asked, “Which fat is best to cook with?”
Chef Steph: My top two choices for cooking with fat are extra-virgin olive oil or avocado oil.
Extra virgin olive oil is great. It adds a little flavor. You can drizzle it on top of your foods as well or saute your foods in it.
If you’re grilling – in those summer months we like to grill – I recommend using the avocado oil because it has a higher temperature for a smoke point and it won’t burn up.
