This is a doozy, how do I deal with my chocolate cravings? I should be asking that question to you very honestly from me, but Maritzia is asking this.
Chef Steph: Right! You know everybody likes chocolate, right. You’re right they love chocolate! So, when you’re making a chocolate selection or you’re having that craving, I want you to purchase 70% cacao. That means that there’s more antioxidants in that dark rich chocolate that can help benefit your body and the key is there’s less sugar.
So stay away from the milk chocolate, go for the dark chocolate. Have an ounce. Again we don’t want to sit down with a big one-pound bar; just a little bit will do you and get you through the day into your next meal .
